Professor

He majors in educational systems, educational administration, school management, and international educational cooperation. Especially, he has been studying about education in French universities, and educational systems in south-eastern Asia including the Republic of Vietnam.

石坂 広樹
Professor

His major is education policy, international educational cooperation, educational research, mathematics education, and intercultural education. He is dedicated to international cooperation in education for African, Asian and Latin American countries. His hobbies are fishing, diving, and travel.

His major is international educational cooperation, science education and geology. He has participated in international educational cooperation projects as an expert of science education.

Field of Mathematics and Science Education

小汐 千春
Assistant Professor

She specializes in animal behavior and behavioral ecology, also studies mate choice and sexual antagonistic coevolution in insects using selection gradient analysis and morphometric techniques.

工藤 慎一
Associate Professor

His areas of expertise are behavioral ecology and evolutionary ecology. He studies the diversification of parental investment in arthropods, particularly with regard to the evolution of parental care of offspring.

His field is in international educational cooperation, and mathematics education. In particular, He conduct research on mathematics curriculum and theories and strategies related to the use of metacognitive skills in mathematics learning. He is also engaged in research and practice related to Japanese children’s international understanding and the development of global human resources. His hobbies include watching sports such as soccer and basketball.

武田 清
Professor

His major is condensed-matter physical-chemistry. His research interest is focused on the low temperature thermodynamic properties of metastable liquids. He is also taking part in the international cooperation for the improvement of science education in developing countries.

寺島 幸生

His major field is chemical physics and physics education. He studies structures and dynamics in solution systems by means of thermal analysis, etc. He is also taking part in the international cooperation for the improvement of science education.

Brought on board as a visiting professor in alliance with JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency), in order to advance international cooperation on issues of teacher education and training.Practical knowledge about international cooperation (mostly in the field of Economic Development), Industrial Development/Private Sector Development. Having a lot of foreign experience (for 2 years in Belgium, 2 years and half in Morocco, 2 years in UK, 2 years in Cameroon, 2 years and half in Madagascar and 2 years in the DRC).
