川村幹さん（2021年３月修了）

私は日本の公立保育園で5年間勤務した後、青年海外協力隊としてエチオピアの幼稚園で活動しました。活動の中で日本の教育や、国際教育協力について興味を持ったのが、大学院に進学した動機です。グローバル教育コースでは、留学生と過ごす時間もあり日常の中で国際交流を楽しむことができます。もちろん、その中で英語力を磨くこともできます。交流の中から海外のことを知ったり、改めて日本を見つめたりし、大学院の勉強だけでなく様々なことを学ぶきっかけがあります。協力隊の経験を軸に、学内の活動や海外でのフィールドワークを通し、実際の現場から教育課題に触れることができるのも魅力です。

I am so grateful for the opportunity provided by JICA through the collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information in Jamaica for me to participate in higher learning here at the Naruto University of Education in Japan. I have gained a deeper understanding and insight of quality education through my academic training and I hope to actively share my experience in my country and help develop education as I continue to collaborate with JICA and Japan. I feel really grateful with the opportunity granted to me to study at the Naruto University of Education. My experience at the university was quite good despite of the COVID-19 situation, and I could improve and increase my learning and my professional skills in mathematics education and educational research. One of the things that I enjoyed the most is that I could expand and deepen my expertise in different concepts of mathematics education research as academic field, and now I feel that I have a better experience and mastery of concepts such as formative assessment, problem solving approach, teachers’ professional development, curriculum and textbooks development, design of education materials including the use of ICT, and in conducting research as a general topic. Also, I could realize the interest of the university in enhancing and fostering the international cooperation of Japan to the developing countries. When I return to my country, I know that I will be able to help to the improvement of the mathematic learning of Salvadoran students and support the mathematic education policies by utilizing the experience obtained during my master degree on Global Education Cours.

みなさん，こんにちは！私は大学学部時代，カンボジアでのボランティアをきっかけに開発途上国での教育について関心を寄せ，学部の卒業論文では「開発教育の現状と課題」について執筆しました。様々な開発途上国での諸課題を研究していくにつれ，女子の就学率の低さに特に関心を持ち，研究を深めたい，世界の子供たちが平等に教育を受けられる世の中にできるような人材になりたいと強く思うようになり，国際教育コースへの進学を希望しました。入学後は，留学生や個性豊かな多くの仲間と共に国際協力や国際教育について学んでいます。修了後は，国際理解や開発教育について教えることのできる教員になりたいと思っています。この素晴らしい環境で，共に国際教育について考えてみませんか。

馮紹偉さん（2022年３月修了）

その国の文化を理解しなければ、その国の言語は上達にならないと、私はずっと思っています。そこで、大学院を探したときに、言語教育と文化を両方重視する鳴門教育大学に進学しようと決めました。鳴教大では、日本語教師養成プログラムを履修できるほかに、様々な日本文化体験もできます。また、留学生に対して初級から上級までの日本語補講が設けられています。受講生として学ぶ、見学者として経験を積む、教師として教えるという３つの側面から、自らの日本語教師としてのスキルを磨くことができます。同級生の中でも現職の先生や日本語教師としての経験を持つ方が多いので、互いに経験をシェアしたり、教えてもらったりすることもできます。私は博士後期課程への進学に備えて、名古屋外国語大学で大学院研究生として引き続き日本語教育について学んでいきたいと思っています。日本語教育、国際コミュニケーションに興味を持つ方は、本コースがおすすめです。

みなさん、こんにちは。私は、日本語教師養成講座420時間修了後、大学院に入学しました。大学院に入学した目的は、研究でした。夢だった日本語教師としてスタートしたキャリアも中断したくなかったので、非常勤講師を続けながらの2年間でした。大学院の授業は、グループワークやプレゼンテーションをする機会が多々あり、協働学習の連続でした。年齢や国籍などの違いを超えて、ともに取り組んだ経験は、学ぶ楽しさや多様性の良さに改めて気づかせてくれました。子育て・仕事・大学院生と三足のわらじを履いていた私は、最後までやり遂げられるか不安になることもありましたが、先生方の親身なサポートもあり、全力で最後までやりきることができました。ここでの学びや経験は、現職でも活きています。大学院に入学しようか迷っている皆さん、チャレンジしてみませんか。

I am privileged and honored to be a recipient of the JICA scholarship to be in Naruto University of Education from the country Papua New Guinea. The university has a world class education and research facilities with very supportive professors and tutors. I am willing to make to golden and a life time opportunity to learn the unique Japan history, culture and education that will help me to improve the so called many problems my country is facing in terms of education particularly in the teacher training section of the ministry of education.

私は、青年海外協力隊としてサモアで活動し、帰国後は日本の高校で教員として勤務しましたが、再び国際協力の分野で働きたいと思い、鳴門教育大学大学院への入学を決めました。グローバル教育コースは、授業で国際協力の専門的知識を学ぶだけでなく、実際に途上国に足を運び、先生方の専門家としての仕事を間近で見ることで、実践的に学べることが最大の魅力です。入学前は不安があった語学力も、日々の授業や留学生たちとの生活を通して大きく向上させることができました。現在は、開発コンサルティングの企業で働いており、JICAの技術協力プロジェクトに算数教育の専門家として従事しています。鳴門で学んだことを活かして、様々な国の教育の発展に貢献できるような専門家を目指していきたいです。

加美梓さん（2019年３月修了）

「日本語教育について学びたい！」と思い始めたのは、学部時代でした。留学生に日本語を教えたことがきっかけです。その中で、自分の母語である日本語を上手く教えることが出来ないという場面に何度も遭遇し、とても悔しい思いをしていました。それと同時に、日本語教育について興味を持ち始め、専門的に学びたいと考えるようになり、大学院への進学を決めました。大学院へ進学してからは、日本語教育に関する授業を履修しながら、徳島県の外国人児童生徒の日本語サポーターとして活動したり、鳴門に住む外国人に日本語を教えるサークルに所属したり、キルギス共和国での日本語教育実習に参加したりして、学部時代に経験したことや大学院の授業で学んだことを生かすべく、日々努力しています。鳴門教育大学大学院には、魅力ある先生方による充実した授業はもちろんのこと、日本語教育に関する活動機会が数多くあります。日本語教育について学びたいと考えている人にとっては、この上なく魅力的な場所ではないでしょうか。

藤戸拓実さん（2022年３月修了）

入学当初、英語はほとんど話せなかったのですが、修士課程でグローバル教育について学びたいと思い本学に入学しました。学部時代にJICAボランティアを経験された方の本を読み、多くの日本人が様々な分野で協力していることを知り、世界に貢献したいという夢を追いかけるようになりました。本学で勉強している間、多くの外国人の友人を作り、世界各地の人と生涯続く関係を築くことができました。本コースでは、他国の人々と協力する方法を学び、多くのプロジェクトに参加し、コロナ禍でも海外との繋がりを感じることができました。本学スタッフは、学生が成長できるように最善を尽くそうとする高いモチベーションを持っています。また、日本語と英語の両方で授業が行われており、自分に合ったコースを見つけることができます。大学院での学びを経て、私はJICAボランティアとしてセネガルに派遣されることが決まっています。入学当初の夢を実現することができ嬉しく思います。将来は国際協力に関わることを目標に、本学で得た知識を活かしていきたいです。

落合ゆきさん（2022年３月修了）

私は、幼少期から異文化に触れることに興味があり、次第に世界的な社会課題に取り組みたいと考え、専門性を磨くため本コースに進学しました。本コースでは、国籍や世代、文化が異なる多様な背景をもつ仲間がいます。自国の視点、専門分野の視点、個人の視点をもち関わり合い、日常そのものを通して、学びを得ることができます。研究においても、コロナ禍で現場に行くことはできませんでしたが、留学生との関わりを通して、その国の現状をリアルに知ることができます。思いがけないことが起きたり、当たり前のことが当たり前でなかったり…様々なことが起こりますが、自分の捉え方が変わり、より人生が楽しく面白くなるのも魅力の一つです！国際協力に関わりたい！同時に多文化を体感したい！教育課題を見つめなおしたい！という方、おすすめです。 私は修了後、自身の専門競技であるボート競技のコーチング業を努めます。将来的には国際協力の現場において、人を育てる立場から個人やコミュニティの自立に関わる活動をしていくことが今の目標です。

曹芳さん（2014年３月修了）

鳴門教育大学大学院で日本語教育を学んだ後、横浜の日本語学校で勤務していました。主な仕事は、日本語の講義、日本語能力試験対策の講義、大学入試の小論文や面接の相談などです。この仕事を通して、自分が大学院で受けた教育が経験として、直接生徒たちに伝えることができました。大学院生時代には、鳴門市近郊に住む外国人や留学生に日本語を教える機会もありました。この経験は、様々な背景を持つ学習者を理解することにつながり、現在の語学学校での仕事に役立っています。今後も大学院で学んだことを生かし、留学生の夢を叶えるためのサポートをしていきたいと思っています。

楊蓓蓓さん（2015年３月修了）

皆さん、私は2015年に国際教育コース（当時）から修士課程を修了した留学生の楊蓓蓓です。今は旅客運送係員として北京のANAで働いています。私が在籍した時、国、職業、年齢の様々な方々が集まっていたのは国際教育コースでした。この様な「多様性」があるコースで２年間勉強したお陰で、異文化コミュニケーションへの理解もできるようになりました。今の仕事では、様々な旅客と出逢い、まさに異文化コミュニケーションをとっている毎日です。興味がある方は是非このコースでいい思い出を作り、将来の職場で活躍して下さい。

Thanks to Japanese Government through Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Government of Rwanda, I am a Lecturer, teaching Biology related courses and how to teach Science specifically Biology in College of Education-University of Rwanda. Studies on International Teacher training and Mathematics-Science Education that I have studied from Naruto University of Education-Japan is significant to what I am currently doing as a Science Teacher-Trainer and Educator as I was supposed to contribute to the Improvement of Mathematics and Science Teacher Education. In future, my focus is science education specifically science curriculum implementation as I am conducting a PhD in that area.

Hello, my name is Titik Sutanti. I’m from Indonesia. I am a teacher trainer for mathematics teacher in Center for Development and Empowerment for Mathematics Teacher and Education Personnel (CDEMTEP) or in Bahasa called Pusat Pengembangan dan Pemberdayaan Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan Matematika (PPPPTK Matematika) located in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. I was graduate student in the International Education Course Department of Naruto University of Education from 2011 to 2013. Studying at NUE gave me a lot of useful knowledge and experience both in pedagogic and content knowledge that was beneficial to my career in PPPPTK Mathematics. Starting from designing until evaluating the lesson, developing learning media, collegially observing other teachers’ lesson in lesson study circle to improve our lesson, etc. We also learn about education system in other countries to broad our knowledge on how education is run in other countries. All of those are related to my job as a teacher trainer who train mathematics teacher in Indonesia both pedagogically and content knowledge. I’m very grateful to have opportunity to be part of International Education Course as its graduate student. 私は、大学時代にフィリピンの小学校と孤児院でボランティア活動を行ってきました。その活動をきっかけに、開発途上国の教育について興味を持つようになり、学部3年時に国際教育開発について学べるゼミに入りました。卒業論文では、「児童の学業達成における教員の関係性と要因」について執筆しました。これらの研究やボランティア活動をしていくなかで、一人でも多くの子ども達が自分の持つ可能性を最大限に発揮できる教育の場を作りたいと強く思うようになりました。その夢を実現するため、「研究」と「教員資格取得」の両方が出来る鳴門教育大学大学院に進学しました。入学してからは、海外からの留学生や社会人の方々といった個性豊かな仲間と日々勉学に励んでいます。様々な経験を積んできた方々と学ぶことは毎日が刺激の連続です。この恵まれた環境で、是非、私たちと一緒に学びませんか。

ガルシア　ヘラルド　マヌエルさん（2023年９月修了）

Earning a master's degree has always been a dream of mine. I asked Jehovah to give me the opportunity to study in Asia and he answered me and has given me the opportunity to study in Japan. I am very grateful to JICA, the Government of Japan and my Government of National Unity and Reconciliation led by President Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo and in the same way with the authorities of the Nicaraguan Ministry of Education. It is an honor for me and a dream come true to study at the Naruto University of Education, where I am learning a lot about how to do research in education and also improving my didactic, pedagogical and scientific knowledge and skills. I really like the methodology of the teachers, and the support of my tutor to develop my research process in the right way. In the same way, I want to express that I really like the city of Naruto and its calm environment to study and live. I have great expectations of applying what I learn in this master's program in Nicaragua and contributing to the improvement of mathematics learning in Primary Education. Finally, I want to thank the International Student Office (ISO) for the support they are giving me to make my stay in Naruto comfortable.

In 2016 I started working on a Jica project and discovered the teaching methodology used by japan is interesting and provides deep knowledge. I felt that I learned a lot and that I can learn even more. Now with this Jica scholarship opportunity to do my master's degree in Naruto University of Education, I hope to explore more the assessment system of teaching and curriculum development so that I can give my best when I go back to Mozambique.

Over the course of two years, I would have a variety of experiences that make a master’s degree so valuable, not only for the additional knowledge I will acquire but also for the variety of experiences I will gain. NUE is the perfect place for me to do this because it offers such a great mix of knowledge and experience throughout the two years I will spend at the university. Through my Global Education studies, I am learning how to effectively interact and work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. I'm also learning how to apply disciplinary and interdisciplinary knowledge to research and address pressing global challenges. I appreciate my sensei Professor Kiyoshi Takeda for leading me through this journey. Thanks to JICA for the opportunity. Amongst the many attributes of NUE that make it an ideal university are its outstanding curriculum, challenging academic environment, experience professors, a wide range of majors, a great library with books and electronic options, friendly, inviting campus, and extracurricular activities. 私は高校時代から日本語に興味を持つようになり、大学時代は日本語専攻でした。大学４年間の学習で、私は日本語教育に興味を持つようになりました。日本語は、勉強すればするほど楽しくなってくるのと同時に、自分の勉強不足も痛感します。日本語をより一層深く勉強して、日本語教育の方法を大学院で研究し実践していきたいと思ったので、鳴門教育大学大学院の日本語教育・日本文化分野に進学することを決めました。鳴門教育大学では、日本語教師養成プログラムを履修できるほかに、様々な日本文化も体験できます。入学後、職歴、年齢、経験など、多様な背景を持つ方々と友達になって、今までに体験したことのなかった色々なものを理解できるようになりました。今は、日本語教育の専門知識を楽しく学びながら日本の文化生活を体験できていて、とても充実した毎日を過ごしています。日本語教育に興味がある方、日本文化が好きな方、是非、この恵まれた環境で私たちと一緒に学びましょう。

私は大学で国際貿易を専攻し、中国と西欧諸国の貿易商談におけるビジネス文化の違いについて研究しました。その際、国際理解教育に触れる機会があり、興味を持つようになりました。また、子供の頃から一番憧れていた職業が教師だったこともあり、鳴門教育大学院グローバル教育コースに進学を決めました。現在、日本と中国の国際理解教育のカリキュラムや実践例について比較研究しています。また、とても親切な先生と良き同級生に巡りあうこともでき、キャンパスライフも充実しています。毎日、日本語を学ぶことはもちろんですが、多様な国々の留学生と交流することで英語力も向上することができました。毎週開催される研究発表会では、多岐にわたる教育課題や経験について学んでいます。私は、このような学生生活の中で国際理解教育の実践・実体験ができていると感じています。将来、教師になりたい私にとって、鳴門教育大学に進学できたことは、人生の大きな転換点であり、新たな出発点となりました。
