英語運用力に自信がないと，レッスンプランについて，あるいは授業以外の話でも，ALTに話しかけることには，抵抗があるかもしれません。ここでは，学級担任とALTがレッスンプランや授業以外の話をしている例を見ていただきます。役立つ英語表現を使うことやコミュニケーションの図り方の例を見て，ALTとよい関係をつくっていくためのイメージをもっていただきたいというのが目的です。鳴門教育大学の学生たちが，学級担任の役割を演じています。
Planning lessons and speaking to ALTs outside of class can be difficult if you do not have confidence in English. In this section, you will see many examples of HRTs and ALTs trying to plan lessons or communicating outside of English class. The purpose is to model useful language and communication strategies and to help you form a positive self-image for dealing with ALTs. Naruto University of Education students are playing the role of HRTs.
