グローバル教育コース（旧国際教育コース）の教員・大学院生が、ボリビアの教育長1名・小学校教員2名を鳴門教育大学に招聘しました。国際協力機構（JICA）の資金援助を得て、ボリビアのサンフアン市教育委員会は大学とともに、算数ドリルを活用した教育プロジェクトをサンフアンにて実施し、所属するすべての小学校の教員がプロジェクトの研修や活動に参加しています。今回の招聘は、教育長と教員の方々に日本の教育事情や教育指導法について理解を深めてもらうことを目的としました。今回の訪問では、近隣の小学校を訪問し授業や授業検討会を観察したり、日本の教員と交流したりしました。短い時間ではありましたが、非常に有意義な時間となったことでしょう。

Faculty staff and graduate school students of the Global Education Course (Former International Education Course) invited 1 director of the San Juan City Board of Education in Bolivia and 2 Bolivian primary school teachers to Naruto University of Education. With the financial assistance of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the San Juan City Board of Education in Bolivia, together with the university, conducted an educational project using an arithmetic drill, and all the elementary school teachers in San Juan have been participating in the project activities. The purpose of this invitation was to encourage them to deepen their understanding of Japanese educational system and teaching methods and materials. In this visit, they visited 1 elementary school, observed mathematics lessons and its post-lesson conference, and exchanged with Japanese teachers. It was a short time, but it would have been a very fruitful time.
