Trial Of Prevention School Education for Life Friendship |
The preventive educational programs developed at our center are
collectively referred to
as Trial of Prevention School Education for Life and Friendship(TOPSELF). ◆Features of programs *The programs are universal preventive education performed at schools for children’s health and adjustment. *Educational goals are structured hierarchically and based on scientific evidence. *Methods are devised based on theories and empirical basic data as much as possible. *Methods include teaching materials and children’s activities that increase their interest and participation. The programs contain unprecedented new content. *Effectiveness of education is verified scientifically. Assessment is performed with emphasis on the concept that an “assessment is performed for the purpose of education.” *These programs are aimed to be performed ultimately by school teachers. Therefore, realistic and practical materials are prepared for teaching materials and content of lessons. |
