We report various activities of the center held.

	◆December 8, 2015 　Dr. Uchida gave a shotgun presentation and a poster session at symposium of Five Universities Cooperation of Activity Propulsion for Female Researchers 2015.
		Dr. Uchida gave a shotgun presentation and a poster session at Five Universities Cooperation of Activity Propulsion for Female Researchers 2015 which is held at Fujii Setsuro memorial hall in Tokushima University. Title of the presentation and session was “Development of School-Based Prevention Education which Prevent Bullying Issues”. It was a precious opportunity to involve people who study various fields, not only psychology but also medical and engineering.

	◆November 3, 2015 　Director Yamasaki gave a lecture at the special lecture which held at Tokushima Kensyokai College of Health and Welfare.
		Director Yamasaki gave a lecture at Tokushima Kensyokai College of Health and Welfare on Nov, 3 in 2015. The title of the lecture was “Mysterious determinant of human’s action: Threatening control from unconsciousness”. Many people attended the lecture on that day.

	◆October 26, 2015 　Dr. Murakami gave a lecture at workshop in Masuda-city, Shimane prefecture.
		Dr. Murakami gave a lecture for teachers, who concerned health education at elementary and junior high school, on Oct, 26 in 2015. The Theoretical background and practice of development of self-confidence, one of the prevention education programs, were explained with actual teaching materials in the lecture. Many teachers attended the lecture. It was very productive time.

	◆October 5, 2015 　Director Yamasaki gave a lecture at the workshop of Network of Life.
		Director Yamasaki gave a lecture at the workshop of Network of Life, sponsored by Association for the Prevention of Suicide in Tokushima. The lecture was mainly about theoretical background of prevention education. Practice of prevention education was also explained. Many teachers attended the workshop. It was very productive time.

	◆September 16, 2015 　Dr. Murakami gave a lecture at Ibaraki Educational Center in Osaka.
		Dr. Murakami gave a lecture for teachers to improve their skills at Ibaraki Educational Center in Osaka on Sep, 16 in 2015. The lecture was about theoretical background and practice of prevention education. Many teachers attended the seminar. It was very productive time.

	◆August 29, 2015 　Director Yamasaki gave a lecture at seminar for school psychologists in Japan.
		Seminar for school psychologists in Japan was held at Naruto University of Education on Aug, 29 in 2015. Director Yamasaki gave a lecture there. The lecture was mainly about theoretical back ground of prevention education. There were some opportunities to watch short video, some scene of actual lesson of prevention education, and to ask some questions. Many school counselors attended the seminar.

	◆August 17, 2015 　Director Yamasaki gave a lecture at the summer seminar of general seminar for faculty members in Owariasahi-city, Aichi prefecture.
		Director Yamasaki gave a lecture at the summer seminar of prevention education for faculty members in Owariasahi-city, Aichi prefecture on Aug, 17 in 2015. The lecture was mainly about theoretical back ground of prevention education. Some recent activities of our center were also presented. Many teachers attended the seminar.

	◆March 6, 2015 　Professors and students from Gunma University came to our university to observe our center.
		Professors and students from Gunma University came to our university to observe our center. Director Yamasaki and Dr. Uchida described our educational programs and show facilities at the center. It was a substantial meeting with many questions and ideas from the participants.

	◆October 16, 2014 　Director Yamasaki gave a lecture at TOKUSHIMABUNRI Junior High School in Tokushima.
		Director Yamasaki gave a lecture about theoretical background of our prevention education prior to the tutorial of prevention education for students, which is going to be held at TOKUSHIMABUNRI Junior High School in Tokushima on Dec, 4 in 2014. Many teachers from the junior high school attended the lecture. It was a substantial time with many questions and ideas from the participants.

	◆October 5, 2014 　Director Yamasaki and Dr. Uchida gave the lecture and the workshop at the annual meeting of The Japanese Association for The Study of Guidance and Counseling, held at our university.
		In the annual meeting, Director Yamasaki gave a lecture about theoretical background of our prevention education and Dr. Uchida gave a workshop to give opportunity to experience some parts of prevention education. Many teachers attended the training and they participated the lecture and the workshop lively.

	◆August 19, 2014 　Director Yamasaki and Dr. Uchida gave a lecture and workshop at prevention education workshop, sponsored by Tokushima Prefectural Board of Education.
		Director Yamasaki gave a lecture about the theoretical background of prevention education. After that, Dr. Uchida gave a workshop briefly to give an opportunity to experience our educational program for participants. There was a lot of practical activity. Many teachers attended the lecture and workshop.

	◆August 1, 2014 　Director Yamasaki and Dr. Uchida gave lecture and workshop at KOYO Elementary School, Muko-city in Kyoto prefecture.
		Director Yamasaki gave a lecture about the theoretical background of prevention education. After that, Dr. Uchida gave a workshop briefly to give an opportunity to experience our educational program for teachers. Many teachers attended the lecture and workshop.

	◆July 31, 2014 　Dr. Murakami gave a lecture at summer workshop of nurse teacher association in Kagawa prefecture.
		Dr. Murakami gave a lecture and workshop entitled “Educational method and actual lesson to cultivate Self-Confidence~ experience of the lesson, aimed for developing Self-Confidence~” at summer workshop of nurse teacher association in Kagawa prefecture.

	◆January 31, 2014 　Ms. Kumiko Bando, vice minister for Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology, came to our university. Director Yamasaki described about this Center.
		Ms. Kumiko Bando, vice minister for Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology, came to our university. Director Yamasaki described about this Center. There were many ideas and questions.

	◆January 29, 2014 Lecture 　Dr. Uchida, gave a lecture at Shimamoto-town Fureai Center in Osaka.
		Dr. Uchida gave a lecture about prevention education at the training session, presented by a board of education in Shimamoto-town in Osaka. There were explanation of background of theory and brief practice of actual class. Attended teachers from elementary school and junior high school actively participated in the lecture.

	◆December 14, 2013 Lectures 　Director Yamasaki gave a lecture at research meeting of PTA liaison conference in Kameoka city.
	no image	Director Yamasaki gave a lecture, titled "Protecting children’s vitality and smile 'new school based prevention education': In order to keep fully happy future for children" at research meeting of PTA liaison conference in Kameoka-city. Many people attended the lecture.

	◆August 27, 2013　 Lectures Ms. Ando, Assistant Research Fellow, gave a lecture at the Miyoshi-city Hoken Center.
		Ms. Ando, Assistant Research Fellow, gave a lecture entitled “Effectiveness of the educational program to cultivate Self-Confidence” at the 2013 Mental Health of Adolescents Workshop. Many elementary school and junior high school teachers attended this lecture.

	◆August 26, 2013　 Lectures Director Yamasaki gave a lecture at the KATANOKAMI Elementary School in Tokushima.
		Director Yamasaki gave a lecture titled, “New school 'based prevention education' covered from bullying to school work problem synthetic education to protect and rise children” at the KATANOKAMI Elementary School in Tokushima. A lot of teachers attended this presentation.

	◆June 15, 2013　 Lectures Director Yamasaki, gave a lecture at the 54^th general meeting of Association of Psychiatric Social Work in Ishikawa.
		Director Yamasaki gave a lecture at the 54^th general meeting of Association of Psychiatric Social Work in Ishikawa. We had a great opportunity to demonstrate the theory of science of prevention education as well as details of TOP SELF in Ishikawa. A lot of teachers attended this presentation.

	◆August 28, 2012　 Lectures Director Yamasaki, the director of the center, gave a lecture on prevention education at the Itano-town Goudou Chousha Choumin Center.
		Students at four elementary schools in Itano city will receive prevention education beginning in October, 2012. In August, Director Yamasaki gave a lecture entitled, “Start of New Prevention Education at Schools and Scientific Evidence,” to explain the prevention education. Many teachers attended this lecture.

	◆August 28, 2012　 Lectures Dr. Sasaki, associate professor, gave a lecture on prevention education at the Miyoshi-city Hoken Center.
		Dr. Sasaki, associate professor, gave a lecture entitled, “the Development of Self-Confidence: Implementation of Preventative Education Designed to Enhance Students' Self-Confidence,” at the 2012 Mental Health of Adolescents Workshop. Many elementary school and junior high school teachers attended this lecture.

	◆November 17, 2011 　 Lectures 　Director Yamasaki gave a lecture at Naruto University of Education Attached Junior High School.
		Our attached junior high school is to start TOP SELF education from next January. Before that, this talk became a very precious opportunity to understand the theoretical backgrounds of TOP SELF. It is likely that the teachers understood well how this education is established, getting prepared for implementing it.

	◆June 15, 2011 　 Lectures 　Dr. Uchida gave a lecture at NARUTOSHI DAIICHI Elementary School.
		In 2011 school health committee, Dr. Uchida gave a lecture titled, “To prevent Lifestyle diseases" at NARUTOSHI DAIICHI Elementary School. Many Parents and teachers attended the speech.

	◆February 11, 2011 Lectures Director Yamasaki gave a lecture at the Naruto University of Education Attached Elementary School.
		Director Yamasaki gave a lecture at the 57^th Elementary School Education Conference. He explained in detail the center and TOP SELF. Many teachers attended the speech despite cold weather.

	◆November 29, 2010　 Lectures – Preventive School Education to Protect Children’s Health and Promote Their Adjustment. Many teachers and students attended the lectures at Naruto University of Education and they listened to each lecturer very attentively.

	Dr. Salmon gave a lecture titled, “No Failure in Schoolwork or Behavior: the Necessity of Social Intelligence Curricula Based on Evidence."	Dr. Lickona gave a lecture titled, “Support to Nurture Smart and Better Students: Strategies to Motivate Class and School.”

	◆August 9, 2010　 Lectures Director Yamasaki gave a lecture at the Naruto University of education Attached Junior High School.
		Director Yamasaki made a speech in our attached junior high school in Tokushima. He explained about the science of preventive education and its education in schools that are closely associated with education conducted within this academic year in the attached school. Many teachers, along with the principal, joined this session, and we could deepen understandings on practices of preventive education hereafter.

	◆August 8, 2010 Lectures Professor Makiko Kasai delivered a lecture which was requested by Myodo-gun Junior High School PTA, Human Rights Promotion, Tokushima-city.
		Professor Kasai of our center gave a lecture titled, “Mental Health of Middle School Students.” As a clinical psychologist, she is in charge of counseling offered in the university’s counseling room. She also works as a school counselor at a junior high school. From that perspective, she described the current state of mental health in junior high school students. She also talked about her expectations in the relationships between the students and their families.

	◆August 5, 2010 Lectures Researcher Katsuma gave a lecture on “Family Support Class to Prevent Delinquency” sponsored by a juvenile support center.
		Researcher Katsuma of our center gave a lecture titled, “On the Factors Related to Delinquency Prevention: Development of Delinquency Prevention Programs.”

	◆July 27, 2010 Lectures 2010 workshop to improve leadership and human strength in the teaching staff of Yoshinogawa-city: Associate Professor Sasaki gave a lecture at the training workshop for the teaching staff of elementary and middle schools.
		Associate Professor Sasaki of our center gave a lecture titled, “Children’s Self-Esteem – From Its Foundation to Practice in Education.” Approximately 200 teachers from Yoshinogawa-city attended the lecture. There was an exchange of ideas regarding children’s self-esteem. We hoped this lecture could be the catalyst for teacher to think about fostering children’s self-esteem.
