October, 16, 2015 Presentation of practical education research project was held at YOKOGAWA Elementary school, Handa-city, Aichi prefecture. Main title of the research is “Aiming to fostering children who can value their lives and consider how to live: Propulsion of new school-based prevention education”. In YOKOGAWA Elementary school, “School-Based Prevention Education Plan” has been constructed based on the educational program which developed by our center. The aspiration of the plan is fostering children’s autonomy and interpersonal skills. On that day, all classes (3rd to 6th grades) had open class and research presentation of prevention education. Following that, lectures by director Yamasaki and Dr. Uchida were held. Review meeting of the classes was also held. It was very productive time.
